About Joe Coles

Joe Coles is a native of Coldwater, Kansas and is well known thoughout the state as a former college athlete at Southwestern College, teacher, coach, counselor, school administrator/athletic director and most recently, his work as a speaker and consultant on a variety of educational issues.  In addition to his presentations to numerous Kansas schools, Coles has presented in K-12 schools, colleges, community meetings, workshops and conferences in Alabama, California, Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma.  Coles is best known for his work on a wide variety of topics pertaining to students, including bullying behaviors, leadership, character education and a new area of emphasis, dropout prevention strategies with adolescent males. After working for several years with Southwest Plains Regional Service Center in Sublette, Coles has now started a private consulting company, “Coles Consulting Services.”
